YES!! SHE DID!! - - - Imagine naturally conceiving and carrying twins in your 50s!
The fabulous Birgitta Lauren joins host Jamie Belz on this episode of the Nutritional Therapy and Wellness Podcast to discuss wellness concepts rooted in Birgitta’s lifelong, disciplined commitment to health and her passion for promoting, defending, and protecting fertility, pregnancy, and babies.
Birgitta Lauren is a Holistic Fertility Coach with over 30 years of experience in the fitness, nutrition, and fertility field. She is the author of Expecting Fitness: How to Modify and Enjoy Your Exercise Program Throughout Your Pregnancy, a nutritional formulator, prenatal fitness trainer, nutrition coach, speaker, and exercise inventor. She has also served in many leadership positions, including as the former President of SWEA (Swedish Women’s Educational Association), board member of March of Dimes LA & OC, the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition in Washington, D.C., and currently serves on the Board of Governors for the National Health Federation.
In this eye-opening and deeply inspiring episode, Birgitta walks us through her journey of becoming pregnant at 53 and giving birth to incredibly healthy 8-pound twin girls—validating decades of holistic living, clean nutrition, and intentional movement. She shares about her work in prenatal fitness and nutrition and details many aspects of her lifelong dedication to wellness, which began after the premature death of her beloved grandmother when Birgitta was just a 12-year-old girl in Stockholm.
From the cultural differences in child-rearing between Sweden and the U.S. to the rise of infertility linked to toxins, EMFs, and lifestyle factors, this conversation is packed with wisdom and practical takeaways for women at any stage of life.
You’ll learn:
- Why fertility is more about health status than age.
- How movement and detoxification prepare the body for pregnancy.
- The truth about organic food, chemicals, and the health of future generations.
- Why fathers’ health matters just as much—and sometimes more—at conception.
- How Birgitta overcame industry myths and built a legacy of healthy moms and babies.
Whether you’re planning for pregnancy, supporting others, or simply looking to optimize your health and vitality, this episode will challenge what you think is possible—and offer hope rooted in truth.
