Foundation #4: Sleep

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to let work and entertainment take priority over rest. However, getting quality sleep is crucial for maintaining our health and wellbeing.

Sleep is like a magic potion for your health! It's both beautiful and complex, affecting everything from metabolic health and to bone health, mood and more.

High-quality sleep keeps inflammation down, skin glowing, hormones balanced, and your brain sharp.

It even helps prevent heart disease and dementia, boosts immunity, and adds years to your life. Basically, there’s no part of your health that isn’t touched by your sleep habits!

TODAY'S QUICK TIPS:

  • Hang blackout curtains
  • Tape over those pesky LED lights
  • Banish phones from the bedroom (or switch them to airplane ✈️ mode)
  • Keep things cool ❄️ with a lower thermostat setting
  • Aim to expose yourself to 10-15 minutes of early morning sunlight
  • Avoid stimulants at least 8 hours before bed ☕
  • Do some light movement to get your body ready for sleep 🧘
