Foundation #1: Nutrient-Dense Diet

Ain't nothin' like the REAL thing, baby...
🎶 Ok, ok -- we know Marvin Gaye was singing about love and romance, but we can't help but hum this tune when we want to remember the first Foundation of Nutritional Therapy: A Nutrient-Dense Diet! 🍎
At the NTA, we're all about keeping it simple and sticking to nutrient-dense, whole foods because they're the real MVPs when it comes to our well-being. We do not promote a specific diet other than one that is nutrient-dense and diverse.

What exactly are nutrient-dense, whole foods?
Think of them as the goodies straight from nature, without any added fuss or intense processing. They're the stuff that's so pure, it doesn't need a fancy label to explain itself! Example, a steak is one ingredient. 🥩

Where we get our food from is important, too.
Every time we choose thoughtfully grown and prepared options, we're not just fueling ourselves, but also supporting local communities and a healthier planet. It's a win-win situation!
What's cookin', good lookin'?
Did you know different methods of cooking can affect the nutrients in our food? So, mix it up! Try some raw, some cooked, and see what deliciousness you can whip up in the kitchen.

Get Colorful!
Let's not forget about adding some color to your plate! Each hue brings its own set of nutrients to the table, so load up on those greens, reds, yellows, and oranges for a nutrient-packed meal.
TODAY'S QUICK TIPS:
5 Ways to Eat More Nutrient-Dense Whole Foods:
